Challenge: This customer wanted to add a bureau to separate the living and dining room. She wanted a bureau that would replicate the design and construction of a smaller table.
Solution: Jim Finseth designed and built a custom bureau. He began with paint grade hard maple intentionally chosen for the distinctive discoloration. He incorporated the classic “Eggs and Dart” and “Greek Labyrinth” molding that exactly matched smaller table.
Result: The custom bureau exactly matched existing smaller table, and provided an elegant transition between rooms.
